How To Get To Busan From Seoul
The most convenient way is to take the Korea Train Express (KTX) high-speed train, which is considered the fastest and most efficient option, typically taking around 2 and a half hours from Seoul Station to Busan Station.
Another option is to take an intercity bus from Seoul. They primarily depart from the Gyeongbu Line Bus Terminal, located at the Express Bus Terminal Station (served by Seoul Subway Lines 3, 7, and 9).
A bus ride takes approximately 4.5 hours and costs about 25,400 KRW, which is nearly half the price of a KTX ticket.
Some folks fly from Gimpo to Gimhae airport. Or take an intercity bus from Express Buss Station, which can take 4 to 5 hours.

Gamcheon Culture Village, often called the “Machu Picchu of Korea,” is a vibrant hillside community full of things to do, from exploring its pastel-colored houses to wandering its winding alleys.
You can get lost in its maze-like streets, discover hidden murals, and enjoy stunning views of Busan.
It’s also full of iconic selfie spots, from vibrant murals to quirky art installations, perfect for capturing unforgettable memories.
As you wander through the village, you’ll come across cozy little cafes, street food, and quirky shops packed with souvenirs you probably won’t find anywhere else.
Don’t forget to pick up a map at the entrance—it’ll help you explore every corner and even collect stamps from different checkpoints for a fun keepsake.
Getting there
Take Bus Seogu 2, Seogu 2-2 or Sahagu 1-1 from either stop. Follow the signs for Gamcheon Culture Village after getting off at the designated stop.
From Jagalchi Station, exit one, walk forward from exit one, and cross the street. You will see the bus stop on the corner once across the street.
Please note there are 2 bus stops. Make sure to look at the signs for the bus you need.
Or from Toseong Station exit 6, walk around the corner to the bus stop.
TIP: if the bus is super packed, wait for the next one. The buses going there are small due to the winding roads and come every 10 minutes or so.
Alternatively, you can take a taxi from Jagalchi market.
Nampo-dong: Explore Things to Do in Busan’s Street Food and Shopping Hotspot
Nampo is one of Busan’s most vibrant areas, offering plenty of things to do, from shopping and food to cultural attractions.
Shopaholics will love Gwangbok Fashion and Culture Street, along with the massive Gwangbok Lotte Mall, both filled with trendy boutiques, cosmetics, and international brands.
Dirtections: If you’re coming To Lotte Mall by subway, take Nampo Station Exit 8—the mall is just a 2-minute walk through the underground passageway, so you won’t even need to go outside.
For a dose of culture and stunning panoramic views, head to Yongdusan Park, home to the iconic Busan Tower. You can also get a beautiful overview of Nampo from the Gwangok Lotte Mall on level 13.
Foodies shouldn’t miss Jagalchi Market, Korea’s largest seafood market, or Gukje Market, where you can find everything from local snacks to unique souvenirs.
Finally, BIFF Square ties everything together with its lively street food scene and strong connections to Busan’s famous film festival.

Jagalchi Station Exit 3 or 5 is the closest for BIFF Street, while Exit 10 takes you directly toward Jagalchi Market and the waterfront.
Dakbatgol Mural Village: An Off-the-Beaten-Path Destination
If you’ve got extra time and want to explore off-the-beaten-path neighborhoods or simply enjoy local art, Dakbatgol Mural Village is a charming attraction in Busan.
It offers plenty of colorful murals and quirky street art, making it a delightful spot for a leisurely stroll and photo opportunities.
As you wander its alleys, you’ll discover colorful artwork depicting scenes from everyday life, whimsical characters, and creative installations.
For a unique experience, take a ride on the Somang Stairs Monorail, which makes the climb to the top easier while offering scenic views along the way. Just make sure to let any resident ride the monorail first.
Getting There
From Nampo Station, exit one, and walk forward toward the bus stop.
Take bus 70 to Dongdaesin 2 Dong. It’s a short walk to Somang Stairs Monorail.
Other buses will take you to the bottom of the village, or require a transfer.
The murals are found wandering downhill in the village.
Songdo Beach: Top Things to Do in Busan’s Scenic Seaside Spot
Songdo Beach, Korea’s first public beach, is a must-visit destination with many things to do, blending natural beauty with modern attractions.

Getting There
From Nampo Station: Exit 8, walk for 1 minute to the bus stop for bus #30, #71 or #6. Ride for 9 stops.
Pro tip: There are two bus stops close together here. You’ll actually walk past the first one and wait at the second. Double-check the sign to make sure it lists your bus number—it’s easy to miss if you’re in a rush or just following the crowd.
The bus stop you need is Amnamdong Community Service Center. After getting off, cross the street and follow the road down—it’s about a 6-minute walk to Songdo Beach and the Songdo Cloud Trail.
The Busan Air Cruise cable car station is located near the Cloud Trail Skywalk, so everything’s right in the same area.
Huinnyeoul Cultural Village: Top Things to Do in Busan’s Hidden Gem
Huinnyeoul Culture Village, often called the “Santorini of Korea,” is a hidden gem offering plenty of things to do, from exploring its colorful houses and charming alleyways to taking in stunning ocean views.
Walk the Joryeong Coastal Walking Trail for a scenic stroll along the sea, where you’ll discover the Huinnyeoul Coastal Tunnel, known for its unique photo spots and access to a rocky beach.
This picturesque village is ideal for finding murals, cozy cafes, and one-of-a-kind souvenirs.
Don’t forget to keep an eye out for neighborhood cats lounging in the sun or napping in the narrow alleys.
Getting There
From Nampo Station: Exit 6. Cross the street to the right, just in front of the exit, and walk straight towards the bus stop. 53m . Take bus# 7, 71 or 508. It’s about an 8 minute ride.
There are three bus stops in the village along the main road. I recommend the first stop: Huinnyeoul Culture Village 흰여울문화마을. Walk forward 48m in the direction of the bus. You should see a white building with stairs in it going down to the village.
Taejongdae Resort Park: Must-See Things to Do in Busan’s Coastal Park
Taejongdae Resort Park is a scenic coastal park that will leave you awe-inspired with its stunning ocean views and lush greenery.
If you have time to explore, you can enjoy a relaxing stroll along the well-maintained trails.
If you are tired from all the walking, hop on the Danubi Train to visit the park’s highlights, including the Taejongdae lighthouse. There are several stops along the road.
The peaceful atmosphere and rocky beach offer a nice escape from the city hustle, and the observation deck provides panoramic views of the coastline.

From Nampo Station: Exit 6. Cross the street to the right, just in front of the exit, and walk straight towards the bus stop. 53m Take either bus 8 or 30 to the last stop.
This is the last stop for Bus #8 and #30. If you’re hungry, consider grabbing a bite at one of the restaurants along this road before continuing. It’s a bit of a walk to the Taejongdae ticket office for the Danubi Train. You can also walk the park.

The park is huge, with many entrances and many ways to get there. Here is the fastest way.
Bujeon Station: The bus stop is right outside Bujeon Station Exit 1, and it’s an easy walk to Busan Citizen’s Park from there—about 10 minutes on foot.
You can also take a taxi.
Samgwangsa Temple: Discover Busan’s Iconic Temple
Samgwangsa Temple, a cultural and spiritual gem in Busan, is a place of profound significance.
Its stunning architecture and vibrant colors, particularly during the Lantern Festival, are a testament to its cultural richness.

From Seomyeon Station, Exit 9, walk to the bus stop opposite Young Kwang Bookstore, and take Village Bus number 15. Get off at the last stop, Samgwangsa Temple.
Oryukdo Skywalk: Things to Do in Busan for Stunning Coastal Views
The Oryukdo Skywalk offers breathtaking views of the coastline and is one of the must-see things to do in Busan.
Suspended over the cliffs, the glass-floored walkway provides a thrilling experience with panoramic views of the ocean and nearby Oryukdo Islands.
After taking in the view, head over to the nearby Oryukdo Park, which connects to the scenic Igidae Coastal Walk, offering a 4.7km long hike with breathtaking views for nature lovers and hikers.
There’s also a café at the Skywalk where you can relax and enjoy the view. This combination of stunning landscapes and adventure makes Oryukdo Skywalk a unique spot to explore in Busan.
Getting There
From the Kyungsung University subway stop, exit 5, turn 180 degrees to your left to walk, and bear right around the corner to the bus stop. You can take either of these buses: 24, 27, or 131 to the last stop at the skywalk.
Gwangalli Beach: Things to Do at My Favorite Busan Beach
Gwangalli Beach is my favorite place to visit and hang out while in Busan. It’s a lively area, yet perfect for relaxing by the sea while enjoying stunning views of the iconic Gwangan Bridge, which lights up beautifully at night.
One of the top things to do here is catch the Saturday night drone show, where hundreds of drones create mesmerizing displays over the water.
The nearby Millak Raw Fish Market is a must-visit for fresh seafood lovers, offering everything from sashimi to traditional dishes.
Not to be confused with Millac The Market, a trendy, multi-story complex near Gwangalli Beach, featuring a variety of cafes, restaurants, clothing stores, and jewelry shops, making it a great spot to shop, dine, or simply wander.
Gwangalli Beach is lined with restaurants and bars. It comes alive at night with its buzzing bars, vibrant nightlife, and talented buskers performing along the shore, creating the perfect evening vibe.

From Gwangan Station, exit 5, turn left and walk down the street. From exit 3, turn right and walk down the street. It’s about a 10-minute walk.
